High Quality Beef

Maybe I am biased, but I feel blessed to have access to high quality beef! Bought 1/2 to select my cuts! Freezer FULL of Fillet Mignon, Bone-In ribeyes, other steak cuts, various Roasts, Ribs, Osso Buco, and Ground Beef that will last all year. So far, I am really impressed with the quality!

First time getting a cow share

This was our first time getting a share of a cow and it has been a wonderful experience. Lowcountry family farms was great through the whole process, and answered questions quickly. Best part is knowing we are enjoying such a variety of delicious cuts from happy healthy hormone free cows. And knowing where it is coming from, from farm and field, to supporting other small SC businesses in processing. Will definitely be ordering again.

FAQs

How is the beef packaged?

Our beef is expertly vacuum-sealed by our butcher and delivered to you frozen. For optimal storage, we recommend placing your meat directly in the freezer upon delivery.

Can I pick my cuts?

Customers have the option to select their cuts for half and full-cow purchases. For quarter cow purchases, cuts adhere to our standard cut sheet, which is attached. If you have specific preferences for half or full-cow cuts, you'll have an opportunity to discuss these with our butcher.

What size freezer do I need?

For storing a 1/4 cow, we recommend a 7 cubic foot freezer; for 1/2 cow, a 14 cubic foot freezer; and for a full cow, a 28 cubic foot freezer. If space is limited, we also offer a variety of meat boxes. Explore our store for more meat box options.

What wholesale option is best for my family?

The amount of beef your family consumes will determine your ideal quantity. For a family of two enjoying beef 2-3 times a week, we recommend a 1/4 cow, which typically lasts six months to a year. Families of 3-4 members enjoying beef at the same frequency may find a 1/2 cow suitable, while larger households may benefit from a full cow. Purchasing in bulk offers long-term savings, and thanks to vacuum sealing, storing in a deep freezer ensures prolonged freshness.
